January Daily MVMNT Program
Welcome to the January edition of the Daily MVMNT program! My name is Crystal, and I'm thrilled to be sharing with you the behind-the-scenes of this month's mobility routines.
As a central part of the MVMNT Membership, the Daily MVMNT program is designed to help you develop a daily habit of moving your body, which can have a transformative effect on your life. That's why we're introducing program intentions, a calendar, and a community feature inside the MVMNT App.
Through the app's community tab, you'll be able to stay updated on new video releases, interact with other MVMNT members, and share your experiences. Keep an eye out for more details on the community feature coming soon! As we enter a new year, many of us are looking to set new goals, take on new challenges, and embrace new habits with the intention of improving our quality of life. That's why I've designed this program to help support your goals for January by providing you with routines that will prime your system and lay the foundation for a solid year.
This month, the routines will progress each week:
In week one, we'll gently open up the entire body with MVMNT flows that are designed to be gentle and wake up the body.
In week two, we'll focus on reestablishing our motor control and stability. This is a great opportunity to revisit the skill of mobility training and identify any areas that may have been neglected.
In week three, we'll engage the nervous system with routines that are designed to increase your joint's capacity. It's important to remember that less is often more in these routines. In week four, we'll take a more restorative approach and focus on enjoying the hard work from the previous weeks. This is a chance to let our bodies be a safe place and further drive home the mobility gains we've made.
In the final week of January and the beginning of February, we'll focus on engaging motor control and stability with two deep hip routines. This is a chance to let go of any disappointment you may have encountered in the first month of 2023
The Daily MVMNT program for January is designed to help you build healthy habits and improve your quality of life. With progressions each week and a focus on gentle openings, reestablishing motor control and stability, increasing joint capacity, and restorative practices, this program has something for everyone.
