Total Body (30 minute video)

This 30 min MVMNT practice is great for the whole body and easily done at home with just a few pillows! Lean in, breathe deep, stretch it out, and connect to something big. This will be a good one to repeat weekly.

Lower Back & Hips (50 minute video)

During this video, focus on gentleness and allow your body to slowly unfold. Starting with breath work to bring the nervous system into a parasympathetic state, we then move through gentle stretches and active mobility for the glutes, inner thighs, hip flexors, hamstrings, and lower back.

Wrist, Elbow, Chest and Shoulders (30 minute video)

During this video, focus on creating tension and maintaining control through the CARs and then allowing the body to rest in the belly breathing, and chest stretch.

What a second…what are CARs?

CARs stand for controlled articular rotations and they utilize active rotation movements at the outer limits of your range of motion for each individual joint.

What are the benefits of CARs?

These will stimulate articular adaptations. CARs also indicate neurological control of the outer ranges for improved joint stability and kinaesthetic awareness. CARs are essentially “circular” joint motions and the idea is that each time we try and create a “larger circle” in order to improve control in the outer limits of our usable range.
